We now have a volunteer site agent on all 15 sites, and at least one notice board. Your site agent will update the information on them on a regular basis.

WHY JOIN THE ASSOCIATION?

1. Active/responsive committee to lobby the council about issues of interest/concern. Funding is now available to start the major re-furbishment of allotment sites, with additional water tanks expected to be installed by end of August 2007, with improvements to security on sites the next project, with the majority of sites upgraded before the start of the next growing cycle in March. We are working with the Council to ensure the needs of the plotholders are met. Additional plots will be commissioned throughout the year to cater for the growing interest.

2. Access to a competitively priced shop at Haycroft road,
Just past the turning for Lawrence Avenue, turn into entrance through green gates on the left just before the houses and the shop is situated in the garage to the left of the entrance. Our Shop Manager (Del Gimson) has added some exciting new products during 2007 and we are experimenting with bulk seed potato ordering for next year. The shop will be open on Sundays 10.00-12.00 until the end of October and from early Feb 2008.
